Workday's (WDAY) fiscal Q2 setup appears favorable, with stable demand and strong momentum in agentic AI products, with some upside to estimates and a potential increase in fiscal 2027 guidance, Oppenheimer said in a note Monday.
Oppenheimer forecasts fiscal Q2 total revenue of $2.6 billion and pro forma EPS of $2.58 for Workday, which the firm said is expected to release quarterly results on Thursday.
Partner checks showed positive feedback for Workday's AI business, midmarket and certain verticals, while decision delays, IT budget pressure and slow customer employment growth were the less optimistic feedback, the firm said.
Oppenheimer maintained the company's outperform rating and raised its price target to $220 from $165.
