Wellell to Merge Units to Streamline German Operations

Wellell (TPE:4106) unit SLK Vertriebs is set to absorb absorb SLK Medical through a simplified merger, according to a Tuesday Taiwan Exchange filing.

The merger is aimed at streamlining the company's German business structure, it said.

Both entities operate in the rental and sale of medical devices, and the consolidation is designed to improve management efficiency and overall operational effectiveness within the group.

The merger will proceed after notarization and be completed under German legal procedures, it said.

Posco Holdings Reports One Death in Shinansan Line Accident

Posco Holdings (KRX:005490) disclosed a serious industrial accident at its Shinansan Line l, which left one worker dead, according to a Wednesday filing with the Korea Exchange.The worker fell from a height during electrical work preparation in a vertical shaft on Tuesday. The cause of the fall hasn't been identified yet, the filing said.Police and the Ministry of Employment and Labor are investigating the incident, and accident prevention measures are being written to prevent a recurrence, it said.
