Waste Connections (WCN.TO, WCN) on Tuesday said it priced an C$700-million debt offering of two note series.
The company is offering C$300 million of its 4.2% senior notes due 2033, and C$400 million of its 4.55% senior notes due 2036, it said in a statement late Monday.
The offer is being underwritten in the United States and carried out as a private placement in Canada.
Proceeds of C$691.9 million, after deducting some fees and expenses, are expected to be used, together with cash on hand, to repay a portion of the Canadian dollar-denominated borrowings outstanding under its revolving credit facility.
Closing of the offering is expected on Aug. 4, subject to some conditions.
Shares of the company were last seen up C$0.07, or 0.3%, to C$239.65 on the Toronto Stock Exchange.
