Vecima Networks (VCM.TO) said leading independent fiber broadband provider serving South Texas, TX Fiber, deployed a next-generation 10-gigabit fiber network powered by its Entra XGS-PON Solution, on Monday.
The deployment delivers symmetrical multi-gigabit internet service to residents and businesses across TX Fiber's service territory in the Rio Grande Valley, it said.
TX Fiber plans to continue expanding its XGS-PON footprint across additional South Texas communities throughout 2026 and 2027, with further network announcements expected in the coming months.
Shares of the company were last seen up 0.1% at $13.25 on the Toronto Stock Exchange.
