The US Treasury posted a $120.31 billion budget deficit in June compared with the $128.3 billion deficit expected in a survey compiled by Bloomberg after a $292.65 billion deficit a year ago.
In June 2025, the Treasury posted a $27.01 billion surplus.
Through the first nine months of the fiscal year, the deficit is $1.367 trillion, wider than a $1.337 trillion gap in the same period a year ago.
