Trip.com (HKG:9961) posted a net loss attributable to the company of 2.46 billion yuan for the second quarter of 2026, compared with net income of 4.85 billion yuan a year earlier.
Loss per ordinary share came in at 3.89 yuan, compared with earnings of 6.97 yuan in the year-ago period.
Net revenue increased 6% to 15.7 billion yuan from 14.8 billion yuan a year earlier.
The swing to loss was primarily due to the 5.2 billion yuan anti-monopoly penalty imposed by China on the online travel platform in July, Trip.com said.
