Major digital assets rose Monday, with Bitcoin (BTC-USD) topping $65,000.
The CoinDesk Market Index, which tracks dozens of digital assets including Bitcoin, rose 1.4% in the past 24 hours. The Nasdaq 100 rose 0.3%, the S&P 500 fell 0.1%, and the Dow Jones Industrial Average decreased 0.5%.
Bitcoin rose 1.1% to $65,093, according to CoinMarketCap data. The most popular cryptocurrency's 24-hour trading volume doubled to $30.6 billion.
Ethereum (ETH-USD), the second-largest digital asset by market value, climbed 2.1% to $1,897.
XRP (XRP-USD) rose 2.2%, BNB (BNB-USD) gained 0.7%, and Solana (SOL-USD) added 2.3%. Dogecoin (DOGE-USD) declined 0.2%, while Cardano (ADA-USD) increased 1.6%.
The US 10-year Treasury yield stood at 5.122% at 3 p.m. ET Monday, up from 5.064% Friday, while the five-year yield rose to 4.330% from 4.270%.
The total market value of the cryptocurrency industry rose 1% in the past 24 hours to $2.23 trillion, with trading volume rising 75% to $69.4 billion.
