The UK's Office for National Statistics said the country's gross domestic product in 2023 and 2024 grew more than it previously thought, with the 2024 level now estimated to be 0.5% higher.
The statistical office said Thursday the revisions are part of its annual GDP review aimed at improving its estimate of the British economy's size and growth by including new data sources and updating methods.
Annual volume GDP growth in 2023 and 2024 was upwardly revised by 0.1 percentage point each, with the 2024 rate now standing at 1.1%.
