Standard Nuclear (STDN) has finalized a binding, multi-year fuel supply agreement with compact microreactor developer Antares Nuclear to deliver up to eight metric tons of uranium of high-performance TRISO fuel through 2035, the company said on Thursday.
The agreement builds on cooperative development work initiated in 2025 that aligned fuel specifications and production paths, it stated.
For Antares, securing long-term fuel certainty provides the operational foundation required to transition its microreactor technology from demonstration phases toward active commercial and military deployments, it added.
Meanwhile, the contract highlights expanding industrial demand for advanced nuclear fuel fabrication as market players scale production facilities to meet national security and clean energy goals.
