Shenzhen SED Industry Completes 95-Million-Yuan Property Acquisition

Shenzhen SED Industry (SHE:000032) subsidiary China Electronics System Technology fully paid 95 million yuan to acquire three properties in CEC Smart Plaza in Hebei, China.

The actual delivered area is 7,302 square meters, slightly above the estimated 7,269 square meters, according to a Wednesday filing with the Shenzhen bourse.

The acquisition will serve as self-use research and development office space to support the company's digital city business expansion and R&D capabilities in North China.

Emerging Towns & Cities Secures SGX Waiver for Full Equity Loan Settlement; Shares Up 4%

Emerging Towns & Cities Singapore (SGX:1C0) has secured a key regulatory waiver from the Singapore Exchange Regulation (SGX RegCo) regarding earlier undertakings in connection with a convertible loan agreement with Luo Shandong, according to a Tuesday bourse filing.Shares of the property developer were up over 4% in Wednesday trading.The real estate developer obtained an official "no objection" notice regarding the waiver of restrictive compliance undertakings dating back to 2018.Following the approval, the company has preserved its cash reserves, with the loan amount of around SG$1.2 million settled through the issuance of 204.9 million shares at SG$0.09 per share.Under the previous undertakings, Luo was in line to become the company's largest shareholder following the conversion of his loan. However, the company now has a new controlling shareholder, Cao Yongyan, who has a 22.34% stake in the company.In light of the possibility of Luo exercising his right to convert the outstanding loan amount into company shares on or before May 25, the company had applied for a waiver of the undertakings.

Vantris Energy Steps Closer to PN17 Exit After Auditor Flags No Material Uncertainty

Vantris Energy's (KLSE:VANTNRG) external auditor Ernst & Young issued an unqualified audit opinion with no material uncertainty on its FY2026 financial statements, marking a key step toward exiting PN17 status .The company said this is its first clean audit opinion in four years, according to a Wednesday Malaysian bourse filing.It added that borrowings were reduced to about 5.5 billion ringgit from 10.8 billion ringgit during the year, while the group returned to a positive net asset position of about 3 billion ringgit.Vantris Energy also said it paid about 1.1 billion ringgit to more than 1,400 Malaysian vendors as part of its restructuring efforts, the filing said.
