Oil supermajor Shell (SHEL) said Wednesday that Shell Lubricants and Korea's Hyundai Motor have renewed their global partnership for another five years.
Shell will remain Hyundai Motor's recommended supplier of aftersales lubricants globally following the fifth renewal of the agreement that began in 2005.
The two companies will also continue developing advanced lubricant technologies and supporting high-performance vehicle programs.
"Additionally, the companies plan to expand collaboration on service marketing programs designed to strengthen customer satisfaction and reinforce their leading position in key aftersales markets," the statement said.
The deal is also expected to cover next-generation e-fluids, thermal management, digital innovation, and high-performance mobility, according to Shell Lubricants official Lee Ming Seow.
