Risen Energy and Ascania Energy have signed a memorandum of understanding to develop up to 100 megawatts of solar capacity and 200 megawatt-hours of battery storage in Ukraine to strengthen decentralized power reliability, Risen Energy said Tuesday.
Formulated to meet urgent local demand for decentralized energy infrastructure and flexible grid solutions, the partnership combines Risen's advanced manufacturing technology with Ascania Energy's extensive local execution, engineering, and energy supply capabilities.
The collaboration builds on Risen's established footprint in Ukraine, which includes supplying modules to 12 solar projects such as the 323 MW Pokrovskaya Solar Power Plant.
Moving forward, the two companies will collaborate closely on project development, engineering training, and product localization to accelerate solar plus storage deployment and support businesses amid ongoing grid constraints, it stated.
