Qiagen Names Jonathan Pratt as Chief Executive

Qiagen (QGEN) named Jonathan Pratt as chief executive officer, effective Sept. 1, to succeed Thierry Bernard, the company said Monday.

Pratt most recently served as president and CEO of Filtration Group. His appointment as Qiagen CEO followed a comprehensive search process, the company said.

Bernard agreed to support the transition through year-end.

Qiagen reiterated its outlook for Q3 and 2026, and continues to review strategic opportunities, according to the statement.

Philip Morris International (PM) said Friday it has obtained authorization from the US Food and Drug Administration for the marketing of 11 ZYN ULTRA moist oral nicotine pouch products.The firm said the FDA issued Marketing Granted Orders to its US affiliate, Swedish Match USA. Major digital assets jumped Friday, with Bitcoin (BTC-USD) topping $77,000.The CoinDesk Market Index, which tracks dozens of digital assets including Bitcoin, rose 6.4% in the past 24 hours.
