Premium Income (PIC-A.TO) established an at-the-market equity program that allows it to issue its shares to the public to raise funds at its discretion, effective until Oct. 2, 2028, unless cancelled earlier to the date, it said in a statement on Friday.
The ATM program is being offered pursuant to a prospectus supplement dated Sept. 3, to its short form base shelf prospectus dated Sept. 3, it said. The maximum proceeds from the sale of shares will be CA$250 million.
Shares of the company closed up CA$0.24, or 2.4%, to CA$10.28 on Thursday on the Toronto Stock Exchange.
