Pelangio Exploration (PX.V) provided multiple exploration programs across its Ghana portfolio, in a statement on Friday.
The company completed its Controlled Source Electromagnetic Survey (CSEM) targeting mineralization beyond the depth of the recently completed drill program at Manfo. This CSEM survey included SPDD26-008, which intercepted 26 meters at 2.99 grams per tonne (g/t) gold (Au) from 270 m that included 6m at 11.74 g/t Au, it said.
Its Obuasi CSEM survey, in collaboration with AngloGold Ashanti will start by end of September, evaluating exploration targets along the Obuasi Mine trend. The company's diamond drilling program at Dankran is about to start, following up on encouraging results from previous drilling by Pelangio including up to three meters of 14.17 g/t Au plus two meters of 6.02 g/t Au, it said.
Pelangio's partner TuNya Mineral Resources has begun a 2,000-meter reverse-circulation drilling program to test targets on their earn-in portion of Pelangio's Obuasi property, it added.
Shares of the company were last seen unchanged at CA$0.145 on the TSX Venture Exchange.
