OPKO Health (OPK) reported a Q2 loss late Monday of $0.01 per diluted share, narrowing from the loss of $0.19 a year earlier.
Analysts polled by FactSet expected a loss of $0.08.
Revenue in the three months ended June 30 rose to $163.5 million from $156.8 million a year earlier.
Analysts expected $131.2 million.
OPKO expects Q3 revenue of $131 million to $142 million. Analysts project $134.7 million.
The company expects full-year revenue of $560 million to $585 million. Analysts project $536.8 million.
OPKO shares rose 18% in after-hours trading.
