North Peak Resources (NPR.V) has begun drilling at its Prospect Mountain Mine Complex in Eureka County, Nevada, it said on Monday.
The larger of the reverse circulation (RC) drill rigs has arrived on site, while the second, smaller RC rig and the diamond drill rig are expected to arrive later in September, the company said. The campaign will target five separate areas across the property, with a total planned program of about 7,000 feet of drilling.
Groundwork is ongoing, with 13 pads completed and a further seven still to be constructed, the company said.
Shares of the company closed up 2.5% to C$0.82 on Friday on the TSX Venture Exchange.
