Neurizon Therapeutics Redeems 1 Million Convertible Notes From Obsidian for Over $1 Million; Shares Fall 8%

Neurizon Therapeutics (ASX:NUZ) agreed to redeem 1 million convertible notes held by Obsidian for a total consideration of about $1.2 million, with Obsidian agreeing not to sell Neurizon shares for two months following completion, according to a Thursday Australian bourse filing.

Upon completion, Obsidian will hold 750,000 convertible notes, the filing added.

Neurizon added that it remains fully funded through to the topline readout of the HEALEY ALS Platform Trial and completion of the study.

The company's shares fell past 8% in recent Thursday trade.

Market Chatter: Malayan Banking Raises $700 Million Through Dollar Bonds

Malayan Banking (KLSE:MAYBANK) has raised around $700 million through a two-part sale of US dollar bonds, Reuters reported on Tuesday, quoting an updated term sheet.The Malaysian lender's offering includes $300 million of three-year floating-rate notes priced at 60 basis points above the Secured Overnight Financing Rate (SOFR). It also offered $400 million of five-year fixed-rate notes, priced at 55 basis points above the yield on the five-year US Treasury note, at a coupon of 5.088%, the report said.The three-year notes are scheduled to mature around Sept. 15, 2029, while the five-year notes will reach maturity around Sept. 15, 2031, according to the report.Malayan Banking did not immediately respond to' request for a comment.(Market Chatter news is derived from conversations with market professionals globally.
