Malayan Banking (KLSE:MAYBANK) has raised around $700 million through a two-part sale of US dollar bonds, Reuters reported on Tuesday, quoting an updated term sheet.
The Malaysian lender's offering includes $300 million of three-year floating-rate notes priced at 60 basis points above the Secured Overnight Financing Rate (SOFR). It also offered $400 million of five-year fixed-rate notes, priced at 55 basis points above the yield on the five-year US Treasury note, at a coupon of 5.088%, the report said.
The three-year notes are scheduled to mature around Sept. 15, 2029, while the five-year notes will reach maturity around Sept. 15, 2031, according to the report.
Malayan Banking did not immediately respond to' request for a comment.
