Lucara Diamond (LUC.TO) reported second-quarter earnings at $0.01 per share, compared with $0.03, a year earlier.
Revenue decreased to $41.0 million in the three months ended June 30, compared with $43.7 million a year ago. The company said late Friday that the fall in revenue was primarily driven by lower carats sold through tender and a lower average dollar-per-carat from stones less than 10.8 carats.
The diamond mining company maintained its full-year outlook, including its revenue guidance of between $100 million and $130 million.
Shares of the company were last seen up 3.1% at C$0.165 on the Toronto Stock Exchange.
