Lotus Resources Most Shorted Stock on Australian Bourse, ASIC Data Shows

Lotus Resources (ASX:LOT) was the most shorted stock on the Australian bourse as of Sept. 9, with 16.37% of its total share registry reported as short positions, according to data from the Australian Securities and Investments Commission (ASIC).

DroneShield (ASX:DRO) was the second most shorted stock, with 15.56% of its share registry reported as short positions. 4DMedical (ASX:4DX) was at the third top spot, with 12.34% of its share registry reported as short positions.

The regulator cautioned that its aggregated short position reports are reliant on the accuracy of reports received from individual short sellers.

GenFleet Presents Updated Lung Cancer Therapy Data at Korean Medical Conference

GenFleet Therapeutics (HKG:2595) said Tuesday it presented the updated Phase 2 data for GFH375 monotherapy in pretreated KRAS G12D-mutant non-small cell lung cancer at the World Conference on Lung Cancer in South Korea.The company said the updated results showed an objective response rate of 59.2%, a disease control rate of 93%, and a 12-month overall survival rate of 77% in 71 subjects who received 600 milligrams of the oral drug, according to a Tuesday disclosure.

White Cliff Minerals Says Gina Rinehart's Hancock Prospecting to Take 13.5% Stake With Nearly AU$9 Million Investment

White Cliff Minerals (ASX:WCN) said Hancock Prospecting agreed to acquire a 13.5% stake in the company through the purchase of about 515.8 million new shares at AU$0.017 each, representing a total investment of roughly AU$8.8 million, according to a Tuesday filing with the Australian bourse.Mining magnate Gina Rinehart is the executive chair of Hancock Prospecting.The private placement is subject to shareholder approval, which White Cliff Minerals will seek at an extraordinary general meeting planned for Oct. 19.If approval is obtained, the completion of the placement is expected three business days after the meeting, per the filing.White Cliff Minerals said it will use the proceeds to expand and fast-track drilling and exploration activities at its Rae copper project in Canada.

Wafangdian Bearing Seeks Delisting As Public Float Falls Below 10%

Wafangdian Bearing (SHE:200706) is looking to terminate its stock listing in Shenzhen following a tender offer, according to a Tuesday filing with the Shenzhen bourse.Up to 1,459 shareholders accepted the tender offer as of Feb. 27, 2026, the bearing manufacturer said in its filing.Following the tender offer, the public float fell to below 10%, falling short of the minimum float required to remain listed, Wafangdian said.
