Leading Edge Materials (LEM.V) has increased its stake in the Bihor Sud exploration license joint venture in Romania to 90%, the company said overnight Tuesday.
The higher interest reflects the company's eight years of investment in the cobalt-nickel project.
Meanwhile, Leading Edge is in discussions to secure new investment into LEM Romania to advance underground exploration at Avram Iancu, which is part of the Bihor Sud project.
A work program planned in June/July at Avram Iancu aims to systematically characterize a mineralized zone, estimated at approximately 2 kilometers along strike and 300 meters in width, outcropping on both sides of the valley.
