Leading Edge Materials Raises Stake in Romanian Project to 90%
Leading Edge Materials (LEM.V) has increased its stake in the Bihor Sud exploration license joint venture in Romania to 90%, the company said overnight Tuesday.The higher interest reflects the company's eight years of investment in the cobalt-nickel project.Meanwhile, Leading Edge is in discussions to secure new investment into LEM Romania to advance underground exploration at Avram Iancu, which is part of the Bihor Sud project.A work program planned in June/July at Avram Iancu aims to systematically characterize a mineralized zone, estimated at approximately 2 kilometers along strike and 300 meters in width, outcropping on both sides of the valley.
