Latin Explore (LXE.V) received the FTA (Ficha Tecnica Ambiental) drill permit granting it permission to construct all needed access roads and 14 drill pads to advance an initial Phase I drill at its Para Copper-Molybdenum project, located in Peru, it said in a statement on Monday.
The Phase I drill program, which is designed to test multiple high-priority copper-molybdenum porphyry targets, will comprise about 2,000 meters. The company now plans to proceed with application for the autorizacion de inicio de actividades (authorization to initiate activities), which is expected to be granted by the Peruvian authorities, it said.
The exploration company will start drilling, currently expected to begin in late third quarter or early fourth quarter of 2026, following receipt of all applicable administrative and regulatory authorizations.
The company's shares last traded Aug. 4, closing at C$0.145 on the TSX Venture Exchange.
