The Cellular Operators Association of India and the UK government signed an MoU to counter digital fraud, according to a Tuesday release by the latter.
Under the MoU, the industries will make use of the latest technologies and AI to facilitate knowledge sharing and create engagement related to online fraud and scams.
"The MoU we've signed today reflects the UK's and India's shared commitment to address emerging challenges at the intersection of telecommunications and digital security," Ben Mellor, Acting British High Commissioner to India, said.
