Huatai Securities' Unit to Get $75 Million in Guarantee for Medium-Term Bond Issuances

Huatai Securities' (SHA:601688, HKG:6886) unit, Huatai International Finance, will receive guarantee worth $75 million for the issuance of two tranches of medium-term bonds, according to a Shanghai bourse filing on Friday.

The bonds respectively amount to $55 million and $20 million.

Another subsidiary of the Chinese securities company, Huatai International Financial Holding, will provide the guarantee.

The issuance is part of a $3 billion offshore medium-term bond program that was launched in October 2020.

The company's Shanghai and Hong Kong shares both fell 2% during the morning trade.

NH Investment & Securities (KRX:005940) finalized the issuance terms for its 77th unsecured corporate bond offering worth 500 billion won, according to a Wednesday filing with the Korean Exchange.The company previously intended to offer a bond worth 300 billion won, but raised it to 500 billion won after finalizing the issuance terms, the filing said.The South Korean financial services firm filed an amended securities registration on Wednesday, July 22, to announce the finalized issuance conditions after submitting the initial document on July 15, it said.Shares of NH Investment & Securities added nearly 3% in recent trade.
