Honey Badger Silver Executes 2026 Field Program at Nanisivik Project in Nunavut

Honey Badger Silver (TUF.V) is executing a 2026 field exploration program at the Nanisivik project on Baffin Island in Nunavut, targeting zinc, lead and other critical minerals.

Honey Badger has submitted samples collected during the program to an independent laboratory, with results expected to assist in the evaluation of the project's potential for germanium and other elements, the company said Friday.

After receiving the results, Honey Badger will evaluate its exploration plans for the project including drilling or testing of priority targets.

AGF Management (AGF-B.TO) Thursday after trade said total assets under management (AUM) and fee-earning assets jumped 31% year over year to CA$74.2 billion as at Aug. 31.This was 1.2% lower than the CA$75.1 billion that was reported on July 31, the company said.AGF shares closed up CA$0.90 at CA$21.61 on the Toronto Stock Exchange.

Definity Financial Estimates a CA$130 Million Hit From July-August Catastrophe Losses

Definity Financial (DFY.TO) said Thursday it expects catastrophe losses in July and August to reduce underwriting income by about CA$130 million net of reinsurance recoveries.It equals CA$0.79 per share after taxes and reinsurance, the company said.The losses are due to severe rainstorms and flooding in Ontario and Alberta in July, as well as flooding in Ontario and wildfires in British Columbia in August.Definity said its third-quarter catastrophe losses so far are "trending meaningfully" above the full-quarter market consensus estimate of CA$93 million. The company plans to provide a finalized update for the quarter in the first half of October.The company's shares closed down CA$1.29 to CA$73.65 on the Toronto Stock Exchange.
