Hindalco Industries (NSE:HINDALCO, BOM:500440) has commissioned a manufacturing facility for aluminium bicycle components at Chakan in Pune, Maharashtra.
The plant will produce bicycle frames, rigid forks, handlebars, and wheel rims for domestic and overseas markets, according to a Friday stock exchange filing.
It has an annual capacity of about 500,000 frames and forks, 750,000 handlebars, and 800,000 pairs of wheel rims.
