Getchell Gold (GTCH.CN) has filed a preliminary economic assessment on its Fondaway Canyon gold project in Nevada, the company said Thursday.
The PEA outlines an open pit mining and conventional milling operation with an initial mine life of about 10 years. The mine has a $905 million after-tax net present value discounted at 8% and a 53.1% after-tax internal rate of return.
It has 1.52 million ounces gold recovered over the 10-year life of mine with average annual gold production of 150,000 ounces. This represents a 28% increase in both contained ounces of gold and average annual gold production from the 2025 PEA.
