Fury Gold Mines Up 0.3% In US Premarket AS Reports Latest Drill Results From Eau Claire Project

By

Fury Gold Mines (FURY.TO) on Tuesday the final batch of phase 1 drill results has confirmed mineralization continuity within the Eau Claire project's modelled zone, located in the Eeyou Istchee Territory in the James Bay Region of Northern Quebec.

The most significant result tested 45m down plunge of a historic intercept within the inferred portion of the Eau Claire mineral resource. The hole intersected 7.86 grams per tonne (g/t) gold over 9.43m, confirming the continuity of mineralization within the modelled zone, a statement said.

In addition, drill hole 26EC 102, which also targeted mineralization within an inferred portion of the Eau Claire mineral resource, returned an intercept of 13.83 g/t gold over 1.97m.

Phase 2 drilling is currently ongoing and aimed at converting inferred mineral resources into higher-confidence categories and expanding the indicated mineral resource. To date, 14 drill holes totalling approximately 7,100m have been completed.

The Phase 2 campaign will continue through the summer of 2026.

Fury Gold Mines was at last look up US$0.002 to US$0.5625 in New York trade. Shares in Canada fell 2.5% yesterday.

Star Copper Begins Drilling at Star East Target as 15,000 Meter 2026 Exploration Campaign Gets Underway

Star Copper (STCU.CN) started its 2026 exploration and drill campaign at its flagship Star Project in British Columbia, it said on Tuesday. The company said it is mobilizing on its previously announced fully funded 15,000-meter drill program at the project. With over $15 million cash-in-hand, the program will "double the historic number of meters drilled with the goal of producing a maiden resource as well as testing its nested porphyry hypothesis," it said.Four drill platforms have been fully constructed, and the drill has been mobilized to the first pad located within the Star East target area, where drilling is expected to commence this week. The company expects the first part of the drill campaign to be followed by expanded drilling activities and additional geophysical surveys, including planned 3D IP and magnetotelluric surveys."We believe the initial drill holes have the potential to demonstrate the broader scale copper-gold potential of the Star Project beyond the historically drilled Star Main zone," said Star Copper chief executive Darryl Jones.Shares of the company closed down 0.5% to $1.0 on Monday on the Canadian Securities Exchange.
