Fury Gold Mines (FURY.TO) on Tuesday the final batch of phase 1 drill results has confirmed mineralization continuity within the Eau Claire project's modelled zone, located in the Eeyou Istchee Territory in the James Bay Region of Northern Quebec.The most significant result tested 45m down plunge of a historic intercept within the inferred portion of the Eau Claire mineral resource. The hole intersected 7.86 grams per tonne (g/t) gold over 9.43m, confirming the continuity of mineralization within the modelled zone, a statement said.In addition, drill hole 26EC 102, which also targeted mineralization within an inferred portion of the Eau Claire mineral resource, returned an intercept of 13.83 g/t gold over 1.97m.Phase 2 drilling is currently ongoing and aimed at converting inferred mineral resources into higher-confidence categories and expanding the indicated mineral resource. To date, 14 drill holes totalling approximately 7,100m have been completed.The Phase 2 campaign will continue through the summer of 2026.Fury Gold Mines was at last look up US$0.002 to US$0.5625 in New York trade. Shares in Canada fell 2.5% yesterday.

Fury Gold Mines Commences Metallurgical Test Work at Eau Claire Gold Project

Fury Gold Mines (FURY.TO) has commenced additional metallurgical test work to advance its Eau Claire gold project in Quebec toward feasibility, the company said on Tuesday.Fury has engaged SGS Canada to conduct a comprehensive metallurgical test work program to support feasibility and development planning for the project.The program will have an approximate duration of three months. Testwork will complement the initial metallurgical program completed for the preliminary economic assessment.The program is expected to provide the data required to optimize ore processing, support tailings management and confirm environmental compliance.Results will also provide a strong foundation for developing a complete process flowsheet supported by detailed design criteria, enabling completion of mass and water balances as well as equipment sizing required for process plant layout and design.

Fury Gold Mines Launches Environmental Baseline Studies at Eau Claire Gold Project in Quebec

Fury Gold Mines (FURY.TO) has commenced environmental baseline studies at the Eau Claire gold project in Quebec, the company said Tuesday.The study will be carried out over the next two years and will include field inventories of the various components of the natural and human environments.This program will form the foundation for required regulatory authorization applications by providing a comprehensive assessment of the project's environmental conditions, the company said.Fury engaged Wassah, a Cree-owned company based in the James Bay region, for the study."The initiation of environmental baseline studies for Eau Claire is an important step for Fury, as we advance technical studies," Fury Chief Executive Officer Tim Clark said."The findings will guide our development strategy and will allow us to design and operate in a manner that minimizes environmental impact while optimizing Eau Claire's economic potential," Clark added.
