Frontera Energy Narrows Q2 Net Loss YoY

Frontera Energy (FEC.TO) reported second-quarter net loss from continuing operations of $4.0 million, or a loss of $0.06 per share, narrowing from a loss of $439.2 million, or a loss of $5.68 per share.

Adjusted revenue was $48.7 million, up from $41.8 million.

Stracon Group Swings to Q2 Profit

Stracon Group (STG.TO) Friday after-trade reported a swing to a second-quarter profit of $0.06 per share, from a loss of $0.02 per share in the prior-year period.The engineering and industrial services company said revenue advanced 6.5% year over year, to $208.3 million. Stracon noted the industrial services segment revenue posted the biggest revenue increase, jumping 21% to $147.9 million from $122.5 million.Stracon Group shares closed unchanged at C$10.52, on the Toronto Stock Exchange
