Foraco International SA (FAR.TO) reported second quarter earnings per share of $0.04, compared with $0.06, a year earlier.
Analysts polled by FactSet expected $0.05 per share.
Revenue increased to $84.5 million in the three months ended June 30, 2026, compared with $69.1 million, a year-ago. Analysts expected revenue of $79.8 million.
"While activity levels remained robust through most of our operations, profitability was impacted by a combination of operational challenges on a limited number of contracts in South America and continued inflationary pressure across labor, consumables and key raw materials affecting the entire mining services industry," said Foraco CEO Tim Bremner.
Shares of the company were last seen down 3.5% at C$2.22 on the Toronto Stock Exchange.
