First Mining Gold (FF.TO) closed a bought-deal share offering to raise CA$57.5 million, the company said Thursday.
First Mining sold underwriters 68.5-million shares priced at CA$0.84 each, including the full exercise of the over-allotment option.
First Mining plans to use the funds to advance the Springpole gold project in Ontario and the Duparquet gold project in Quebec, as well as for general working capital and corporate purposes.
The company's shares closed down CA$0.03, or 3.4%, Wednesday on the Toronto Stock Exchange.
