Britain's private sector output remained in contraction territory in June, with the decline in services output offsetting a stronger production upturn in the manufacturing sector.
The S&P Global UK Composite PMI edged down to 49.3 from 49.7 previously, according to final data published Friday. The flash estimate stood at 49.4.
Meanwhile, the services PMI was 48.8, compared with the previous 49.3 and the preliminary reading of 48.7. The June 2026 figure marks the services PMI's lowest level since the beginning of 2023.
