The euro area's seasonally adjusted gross domestic product ticked up 0.1% in the first quarter, following a 0.2% rise in the prior three-month period, according to Eurostat's second estimate released Wednesday.
The latest reading is in line with the initial estimate.
On a yearly basis, the eurozone economy grew 0.8%, matching the preliminary estimate, against the previous 1.3% increase, including Bulgaria, which joined the currency union in January 2026, and the 1.2% gain, excluding the country.
