DroneShield (ASX:DRO) completed the installation and acceptance of its DroneSentry-X Mk2 units on US military vehicles, reaching the milestone about 80 days after the award of the associated contract, according to a Tuesday statement.
Three more units are planned for installation under a recent modification to the contract.
DroneSentry-X Mk2 provides vehicle-mounted detection and electronic countermeasure capabilities against uncrewed aerial threats, the company said.
Its shares gained 1% in recent Wednesday trade.
