DPM Metals Reaches Commercial Production at Vares Mine in Bosnia and Herzegovina

DPM Metals (DPM.TO) has achieved commercial production at its Vares silver-gold mine in Bosnia and Herzegovina, the mining company said Monday.

Following the milestone, DPM expects Vares to hit the higher end of its 2026 production guidance range of 105,000 to 130,000 gold equivalent ounces.

DPM said Vares is on track to achieve a full production run-rate of 850,000 tonnes per annum by year-end.

Profound Medical (PRN.TO) after trade Friday said Matthew Sobczyk has been promoted from corporate controller to interim chief financial officer, effective immediately.He joined the company in 2020 and replaces Rashed Dewan, who has stepped down as CFO, it added.Dewan would stay with the company on a short-term consulting contract to help ensure a smooth transition, Chief Executive Arun Menawat said.

Stracon Group Swings to Q2 Profit

Stracon Group (STG.TO) Friday after-trade reported a swing to a second-quarter profit of $0.06 per share, from a loss of $0.02 per share in the prior-year period.The engineering and industrial services company said revenue advanced 6.5% year over year, to $208.3 million. Stracon noted the industrial services segment revenue posted the biggest revenue increase, jumping 21% to $147.9 million from $122.5 million.Stracon Group shares closed unchanged at C$10.52, on the Toronto Stock Exchange
