Diana Shipping (DSX) said Monday it extended a time charter agreement with Cargill International for its Panamax dry bulk vessel, the Leto.
The new term is scheduled to begin Sept. 10 and run until at least Sept. 1, 2027, and no later than Oct. 31, 2027.
The ship will earn a gross rate of $18,000 per day, minus a 4.75% commission paid to third parties, compared with its current rate of $12,750 per day, also minus a 4.75% commission, the company said.
The contract extension is expected to generate about $6.34 million in gross revenue during the minimum scheduled period, Diana Shipping said.
