Celestica Names Mandeep Chawla Group President, Global Markets; Todd Ankenmann to Become CFO

Celestica (CLS.TO, CLS) named Chief Financial Officer Mandeep Chawla to the newly created role of Group President, Global Markets, effective Oct. 1, it said Friday.

Chawla has been Celestica's CFO since 2017, said the company.

Todd Ankenmann, currently the company's Senior Vice President, Finance, will succeed Chawla as CFO, said the company.

"With his deep understanding of our business model, rigorous financial management, and proven track record across our ATS and CCS businesses, Todd is uniquely positioned for a seamless transition to Chief Financial Officer," said Chairman and CEO, Rob Mionis.

The company's shares were last seen up CA$18.54 or 4.1% to CA$468.88 on the Toronto Stock Exchange.

Enghouse Systems Q3 Net Earnings, Revenue Decline

Enghouse Systems (ENGH.TO) said Thursday after trade that its third-quarter net earnings declined 9.7% to CA$0.28 per share, from CA$0.31 per share in the prior year period.Analysts polled by FactSet had expected CA$0.32 per share.The provider of enterprise software solutions said quarterly revenue fell 6.4% to CA$117.6 million for the period ended July 31, slightly below analysts' expectation of CA$118 million.The company will pay a regular quarterly dividend of $0.31 per share on Nov. 27 to shareholders of record on Nov. 13.Enghouse shares closed up CA$0.14 at CA$15.64 on the Toronto Stock Exchange.
