Cargojet (CJT.TO) said Thursday it is launching a new weekly Wednesday service to Liege, Belgium, starting Sept. 23.
The additional frequency builds on Cargojet's current weekend service, increasing capacity and flexibility between Canada and Europe, a statement said.
"This expansion demonstrates the power of our One Network strategy--connecting our domestic overnight network with our international operations to deliver greater reach, flexibility and value for our customers," said Pauline Dhillon, Cargojet's chief executive officer. "Growing demand from customers across Central and Western Europe for our weekend Liege service created an opportunity to add mid-week capacity and provide customers with a more seamless, fully connected solution between Canada, Europe and beyond."
Cargojet shares were last seen up CA$0.73 at CA$82.05 on the Toronto Stock Exchange.
