Capricor Therapeutics Says FDA Target Action Date for Deramiocel Extended by Three Months

Capricor Therapeutics (CAPR) said Monday the Food and Drug Administration has extended the target action date on its biologics license application for Deramiocel as a treatment for Duchenne muscular dystrophy to Nov. 22 from Aug. 22.

The extension is for the FDA's review of a major amendment to the application, which the company submitted to include additional data from a phase 3 study, Capricor said.

Shares of Capricor Therapeutics were more than 3% higher in Monday trading.

Philip Morris International (PM) said Friday it has obtained authorization from the US Food and Drug Administration for the marketing of 11 ZYN ULTRA moist oral nicotine pouch products.The firm said the FDA issued Marketing Granted Orders to its US affiliate, Swedish Match USA.
