Banyan Gold (BYN.V) after trade Thursday said Franco-Nevada Corp. has subscribed for 10 million Banyan shares as part of the company's private placements.
Franco will purchase 8.25-million shares through the best-efforts offering and 1.75-million shares through the concurrent offering, the company added.
"All other terms of the offering and the concurrent offering remain unchanged from the announcement press release dated Sept. 20," the company said.
Shares issued through the concurrent offering will be subject to a four-month-and-one-day hold period under Canadian securities laws, according to the statement.
Banyan shares closed up CA$0.01 at CA$1.92 on the TSX Venture Exchange.
