Aya Gold & Silver (AYA.TO) said workstreams supporting the feasibility study for the Boumadine Project in Morocco are progressing as planned.
As of Monday, 102,111 meters have been completed year-to-date as part of Aya's 360,000 meters infill drilling campaign. It's targeting 180,000 meters for the year. The program supports mineral resource conversion and provides the geological confidence required for reserve estimation as part of the feasibility study, the company said.
Aya is also advancing work on an updated preliminary economic assessment for the project, which is on track to be released in the second half of 2026. It will include an updated resource model, revised mine plan, and revised metal prices. A mine design based on the updated resource model is currently underway. Results for the PEA were first announced last November.
