Astronics (ATRO) said Monday that a UK appellate court has issued a favorable judgment in its long-running patent infringement dispute with Lufthansa Technik AG, dismissing Lufthansa Technik's appeal in its entirety.
The court also granted one of three appeals filed by Astronics, requiring Lufthansa Technik to make a partial refund of previously paid damages, with the amount yet to be determined.
Astronics may also be entitled to additional attorney fees tied to certain elements of the case.
Either party may seek further appeal to the UK Supreme Court, though it remains uncertain whether the court will agree to hear the case, the company said.
