Apotex Health (APTX.TO) reported fiscal 2027 first quarter adjusted earnings per share excluding VLLP of C$0.70 compared to C$0.90, a year earlier.
Analysts polled by FactSet expected C$0.31 per share.
Revenue decreased to C$848.0 million in the three months ended June 30, 2026, compared with C$1.14 billion, a year-ago. Analysts expected revenue of C$840.8 million.
Contribution from generic Revlimid, or VLLP, a cancer medication, impacted reported year-over-year comparisons, the company said.
In fiscal 2027, the company expects upper mid-single digit revenue growth.
The healthcare company also declared a dividend of C$0.06 for each issued and outstanding common share of the company, payable on Sept. 30, to all shareholders of record as of Sept. 15.
Shares of the company closed down 0.4% to C$37.05 on Tuesday on the Toronto Stock Exchange.
