Apotex Closes Upsized IPO to Raise C$1.5 Billion
Apotex Health (APTX.TO) raised near C$1.5 billion from its upsized initial public offering, the company said Tuesday.The offering comprised 62,291,670 common shares priced at $24.00 per share and it consisted of a treasury offering by Apotex of 35,416,666 shares and a secondary offering by SK Capital Partners and certain Apotex shareholders of 26,875,004 shares, APTX addedThe secondary offering included 8,125,000 shares sold to the underwriters upon exercise of their option to acquire additional shares at the offering price.
