Alphamab Oncology (HKG:9966) said a Phase 3 study of Anbenitamab, or KN026, which it co-developed with Shanghai JMT-Bio Technology, a subsidiary of CSPC Pharma (HKG:1093), met its primary endpoint in the first-line treatment of HER2-positive advanced breast cancer, according to a Wednesday bourse filing.
The company said KN026, in combination with albumin-bound docetaxel HB1801, significantly improved progression-free survival and reduced the risk of disease progression or death compared with the current standard regimen of trastuzumab, pertuzumab, and docetaxel.
The study enrolled about 880 patients and compared KN026 plus HB1801 against the standard treatment regimen in patients with HER2-positive advanced breast cancer.
