Algo Grande Copper Says Phase 2 Drilling at Adelita Project in Mexico Confirms High-Grade Mineralization

By

Algo Grande Copper (ALGR.V) said Friday the first assay results from its Phase II diamond drilling program at the Adelita Project in Mexico confirm high-grade mineralization at the Cerro Grande discovery that had previously been seen in Phase I drilling.

Drilling intersected 30.23 meters grading 1.5% copper-equivalent (CuEq) from 146.7 metres, including a 3.55-metre high-grade core grading 9.4% CuEq and a 1.20-metre interval grading 15.8% CuEq, a statement said.

Algo Grande said three further holes have been advanced, with assays for all three pending.

The company's shares closed up CA$0.02 to CA$0.71 on the TSX Venture Exchange.
