Adelayde Exploration's (ADDY.CN) shares received Depository Trust Company eligibility, for electronic clearing and settlement through the DTC, it said Friday.

The company expects the DTC eligibility to simplify the process for US-based brokers and investors to trade and hold shares of the company electronically, added Adelayde.

"Achieving DTC eligibility is an important milestone for Adelayde," said CEO James Nelson. "It removes a real barrier for our US shareholders and makes it significantly easier for American investors and brokers to buy and hold our stock."
